At Henry’s Gourmet Popcorn Shop, we take popcorn seriously. This isn’t microwave popcorn. This is the real deal: fresh gourmet popcorn crafted with passion and built on a family legacy of over two decades of hard work.

Founded in 2001 by proud parents Henry and Tammy Watson when Henry was 60 years young, the business started under open-air tents with nothing more than a giant kettle, a wooden stirring paddle, and an authentic family recipe. From early 6:00 AM setups at university homecomings to late 11:00 PM pack-downs, mall storefronts in Winston-Salem, over 15 years as a staple at the Carolina Classic Fair, and long-standing game day traditions at Wake Forest and North Carolina A&T football games, the Watson family built this company one hand-stirred batch at a time. Today, Henry is 85 and still going strong!

The Next Generation of Gourmet Flavor

Now, at age 25, Henry and Tammy’s son Marcus has taken over day-to-day operations, stepping into his parents’ footsteps while driving the brand into the future. Combining the time-tested hand-popping techniques learned over two decades with high-speed mobile trailer setups, custom flavor innovations, and expanded corporate catering, Henry’s Pop Shop continues to elevate the concession experience across Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point, and the entire Triad area.

More Than Just Kettle Corn: We are a full gourmet popcorn shop! We feature 12 gourmet flavors along with 5 signature mixes, from rich Caramel and Broadway Butter to sweet Cinnamon Twist and savory White Cheddar. We offer options with sugar, without sugar, and even our crisp, classic “Plain Jane”.

Grandma’s Old-Fashioned Lemonade: Paired perfectly with our savory and sweet popcorns, our signature fresh-squeezed and frozen lemonades carry on an authentic family recipe.
